Our Life Drawing and Portraiture sessions are held at the Kogarah School of Arts with professional models.
Most of our sessions throughout the year are for Life Drawing, but during the winter months, our evening classes are replaced with Portraiture sessions.
We have two classes each month:
Evening Session: 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
Held on the second Thursday of the month.
Morning session: 10:00am to noon.
Held on the fourth Thursday of the month.
Cost is $15 for SGAS members and $20 for visitors.

Thursday morning life drawing was again such a lovely group of artists enjoying a couple of hours, doing what they love.
We have so many talented members. We all enjoy the experience of learning from each other.

Life drawing evenings are always fun and Thursday evening was no exception.
This week we had some new members who enjoyed the fabulous and challenging poses from our model.
Always a great opportunity to broaden and enhance our skills.

Thursday morning Life Drawing at the Kogarah School of Arts again saw some fantastic works.
Our newest artist was very impressed by the talent of our artists as well as the friendliness and welcoming of our members.
Portraiture Session, Thursday evening 10th August, 2023
For the winter months we replaced evening Life Drawing with Portraiture.
Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to work on their artworks using predominantly Oils and Pencils.
We will be returning to Life Drawing in September.
