St George Art Society offers its members workshops covering a wide range of painting styles and topics throughout the year. These workshops give members a great opportunity to improve their skill level in various mediums and techniques. It is also a great way to meet people who have similar interests.

Acrylic or oil Workshop with Ken Tucker. Landscape painting with a focus on colour.

“Colourplay” Workshop by Kristine Ballard held on 3rd August, 2024
“Colourplay” inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s Landscapes, focused on the brilliant
broken colour and abstraction techniques using acrylic paints.

Our May workshop was all about applying the techniques for glazing with acrylic paints.
Catherine Hamilton guided us to create the illusion of reflections in water. An informative and creative day was had by all.
