Workshops
St George Art Society offers its members workshops covering a wide range of painting styles and topics throughout the year. These workshops give members a great opportunity to improve their skill level in various mediums and techniques. It is also a great way to meet people who have similar interests.

“Colourplay” Workshop by Kristine Ballard
Saturday 3rd August, 2024 10am to 4pm
“Colourplay” is a workshop inspired by Vincent Van Gogh Landscapes.
The focus will be concentrating on brilliant broken colour and abstraction techniques using acrylic paints.

Our May workshop was all about applying the techniques for glazing with acrylic paints.
Catherine Hamilton guided us to create the illusion of reflections in water. An informative and creative day was had by all.
